Toilet!!!!!!!! Just to show you gentle townspeople at home what horror we have to put up with!!! Actually, this is not quite true. The new, all woody and sawdusty, "medieval" toilets were absol...utely....wunder...ful! Ut oh!! Germaness is creeping in! I mean, of course, wonderful. Still, those French types still seem to love this "Turkish" style toilet. I draw your eye to the lef tof the in-pipe....
When physics and biology collide! I remember talking to this charming man (the biologist) about physics (erm, why? He is a biologist!). Alas, my hilarious jokes about P-P Chains didn’t really go down to well... of course, this was after the marvellous Chateaux de Vere had kicked in so the specifics are a little hazy, but it goes something like this:
Man: Doctor, my dog has no nose!
Doctor: So, how does he smell?
Man: 1/1 H + 1/1 H → 2/1 D + e+ + ν e + 0.42 MeV
Man, that is a classic!! The CNO cycle one is probably better but takes a little longer to tell...
Nessie. Bigfoot. Yeti. Griffin. G-spot. What do these things have in common? That is right, they are mythical things that may not or may not exist. And yet, until today included in that menagerie of the bizarre and unusual was the phenomenon known as “The Oxford Nap”. Caught for the first time of camera, and exploding the myth is the proof that all are waiting for!! Ladies and gentlefolk, I give you... THE OXFORD NAP!!! Yes, our daring and youthful photographer stumbled upon this nest of Oxfords in France (somewhere near Azincourt) and snapped this shot before they could awaken and devour him (or her... anonymity is guaranteed on this site. Could have been a poodle. Or, um, a hawk. Cough cough).
We love giving nicknames to all our Oxfords. We called these two fine specimens “Shy” Si and “No hair washing or controlling products maybe you should have worn a hat” Tara. Hehehe. But like Bagpuss, we love them...
“Drokk! By Grud!!!” And even, “Snecking Hell!!” S-Expresses(S!!!! Express!!!!!)es Dredd-look-a-likee Grantus. Has anyone ever noticed how straight the back of his head is?! This is a sinister turn of events, and coupled with Simon’s Babylonian Triptych head I am starting to thing that I am the only terrestrial Oxford!! I shall investigate and look into this more for you good people!
Given the comments on the above pictures, you may be mistakenly thinking that Poacher is also an alien. No. He is just Andy. And that is all that needs to be said. And indeed, that is all that can be done. It is a shame, but there you go.
