Sterckshoft 2008

[1 2 3]

Even though we were technically hosting them, the always wonderful Azincourt Alliance let us use their tent as somewhere to relax and and, erm, store out many purchases!! And what a tent it is too! I am a ranging bal lof furious jealously!!

"And then cook at gas mark 8," explains Grant not knowing she only knows temperatures in centigrade! She is German! Crazy Grant! Unfortunately, the solitary solar panel at the end of the bar was, alas, not going to cover Grant foot-mouth carbon foot-print on this one! Shit! I have just run out of wine and am not happy!! I am not happy I have to work tomorrow either!! But you know what, I don't care because Uta lands at 16.00 tomorrow and then everything changes.

In classic medieval magazine pose, Grant looks authentic. Still, if he had his hat on it would have been perfect! Photoshop anyone?!

Oh my f**king God!! Now let me tell you about this picture...! Completely unannouced (in English anyway!) this band of merry men stood up and let fly, flat, into our block! It was amazing!! Of course, if a bolt had hit me ni the eye and killed me I might not have enjoyed it so much, but apart from that, really cool and really scary!! Think the start of "Saving Private Ryan..."

Ah, and so to conclude and on what better place than our wonderful friends in the beer "thing"! Wonderful suds all night, always fresh and cold and I am very much looking forward to re-establishing their acquaintance next year!

-The end-

p.s: I don't know who you are, but you really should come next year. It is a wonderful, wonderful event and I am now going to go every single year and I am sure Grantus agrees with me! Wonderful!
