Damian Mudge
(John Vere)
Damian is a keen re-enactor and throws himself fully into the
period. He favours fighting with sword and buckler and is the only Oxford
who speaks French!
John Vere was the cousin of Sir John de Vere, the 13th Earl of
Oxford, through his father who was Sir Robert de Vere, the brother of the
executed Sir John the 12th Earl. His son, also called Sir John,
would go on to become the 15th Earl of Oxford. |
